This Day
This day was full, full of interesting people and imaginative thoughts. Full of good food, good people and laughter and smiles.
There was warm sunshine and Honey Bunches of Oats in creamy milk. There was a dear phone call from Grandma in Washington and then packing up tomato soup and crackers and driving through neighborhoods to Brandies High to take lunch to my sis. Daily chores came next and then the nicest, warm, shower. Applying foundation and blush and a little eye liner and then trips to pick up Matt from Karate and Bradley from his Dad's house. Pork chops and corn on the cob for dinner and then as dark came, Sarah Anne and I ran to Walgreens to get sponge rollers. Riding home with classical music and munching on gold fish, we teased each other about boys and men and all things girly.
