I Am

I am broken
broken in
broken out

I am torn
between things unseen
between things seen
between things spoken

I have bled
but not like Jesus bled
and not like Satan bled

My pain is nothing
It no longer haunts me
It no longer holds me
It no longer has weight

The God I serve
he is mighty
he is holy
he is father

I have tried
and failed
and lost

I have lost
but I have won
I have grown
I have changed

This life can no longer be mine
This life can no longer bind me
For this life,
